Heartland Soccer Association chooses GCI Team Travel to provide hotel reservations for annual Heartland Midwest Classic, a stay to play soccer tournament
Overland Park, KS. February 28, 2013— GCI Team Travel has been chosen by Heartland Soccer Association to provide the hotel reservations for teams participating in the Heartland Midwest Classic 2013. The annual soccer tournament will be played at the Overland Park Soccer Complex and Heritage Soccer Park August 30 – September 2, 2013.
GCI Team Travel has secured contracts with 21 prime Overland Park hotel properties located near the event complexes. The team travel agency anticipates booking 900 to 1,000 room nights for travelling soccer teams arriving to the city from locations throughout the Midwest. This Labor Day soccer tournament is stay and play, requiring out of town teams to book hotel accommodations with GCI Team Travel and reserve a two night minimum stay.
This is the third consecutive year GCI Team Travel has been chosen to be Heritage Midwest Classic soccer tournament's team travel agency by Heartland Soccer Association. GCI Team Travel has provided group hotel bookings for Heartland Soccer for about 21 events over three years.
