Hotel Incidentals: At check in the hotel will charge a fee per day for incidentals. This charge will come off of your card if nothing is charged to the room and there are no damages. GCI does not recommend paying with a debit card because of incidentals. Please note that most hotels will only accept a credit card at check in. Please inquire with the hotel directly regarding what the hold may be or for additional information.
Cancellation Policy
Arrival Date Change Deadline:
Request in writing via email with GCI prior to 3:00PM Central Standard Time on TUESDAY APRIL 23RD.
Arrival date changes received after the deadline will not be accepted by GCI Team Travel.
Cancellation Deadline:
• Cancelling your reservation via email with GCI before 3:00PM CST on TUESDAY APRIL 23RD will not result in any charges or penalties.
• Cancelling your reservation after 3:00PM Central Standard Time on TUESDAY APRIL 23RD will result in a cancellation penalty up to 2 night’s room and tax charged by the hotel.
No Show Policy:
Should a guest not show up on their scheduled arrival date, the hotel reservation will be cancelled for all consecutive nights and a no show fee will be charged to the credit card on file.

Event or Game Cancellations:
There will be no penalties for cancellations when the announcement/decision is made at least 72 hours prior to check in. If games are cancelled after the 72 hour deadline, the hotel will charge 1 night's room and taxes to each cancelled reservation. Reservations must be cancelled 72 hours prior to check in to avoid cancellation penalties.
COVID-19 Disclaimer:
• Any cancellations due to Covid-19 that are sent in past GCI's cancellation deadline will be at the hotel's discretion to work with individuals/teams on a case by case basis. We cannot guarantee a hotel's flexibility in regards to charging a penalty (or not) for a cancellation made after the GCI deadline.
• Hotel amenities listed on our website and in your confirmation email may be subject to change without prior notification due to COVID-19 regulations. (EX: swimming pool and fitness center availability, house-keeping, breakfast etc.)

Confirming reservation changes or cancellations:
If you do not receive a reply from us (changes@gciteamtravel.com) within 1 business day, please follow up by phone. Email servers such as me.com, icloud.com and att.net will often completely block your email messages to us and our replies to you. Be sure to check for a reply/confirmation if you are sending us an email with an important change or cancellation for your reservation.
