Hotel Incidentals: At check in the hotel will charge a fee per day for incidentals. This charge will come off of your card if nothing is charged to the room and there are no damages. GCI does not recommend paying with a debit card because of incidentals. Please note that most hotels will only accept a credit card at check in. Please inquire with the hotel directly regarding what the hold may be or for additional information.
SPORTS CODE OF CONDUCT
To prevent noise complaints from guests, the hotel has in place a curfew, which is 10:00 PM – Local Time. No minors are to be left unattended at any point at the hotel. If the parents/adults are eating at the restaurant, the minors must be with them. No children under the age of 18 are permitted to use the fitness center, even when accompanied by an adult. No children under the age of 18 are permitted to use the computers in the business center without an adult. The use of sports equipment in the hotel areas is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to balls, pucks, bats, sticks, nerf guns, etc.
Noise Complaint Policy:
1st Complaint – verbal warning
2nd Complaint – Final warning
3rd Complaint – Eviction without refund
- All children must be chaperoned by an adult at ALL times
- Curfew is 10:00PM
- All Pool rules are posted and strictly enforced (Note that there is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY)
- No glass or food in the Pool area.
- The Pool and Fitness Center are to be used ONLY by registered guests staying at this hotel.
- No children under the age of 18 are permitted to use the Fitness Center, even when accompanied by an adult.
- All guests using Pool must have on proper swim attire, not regular clothing.
- No hanging items on walls and/or doors. No posters, glitter, tape, confetti, etc...
- No children under the age of 18 are permitted to use the computers in the Business Center.
- Use of sports equipment in the hotel such as balls, pucks, bats, sticks, Nerf guns, etc.. Is strictly prohibited.
- All pets must be registered to the guestroom and not taken into non-pet rooms
The guest that signed the room registration assumes responsibility for all persons in their sleeping room, their guests, and the room contents. The holiday Inn Suites Sioux Falls Airport reserves the right to assess a minimum fee of $250 for excessive cleaning, room repairs or smoking. If any person(s) or group violates the above courtesies, causing disruptions to the hotel or other guests, it is agreed that the Holiday Inn &Suites Sioux Falls Airport reserves the right to evict the person or group involved. Full payment for the night (s) reserved will be charged and no refunds will be given.
Cancellation Policy
Arrival Date Change Deadline:
Request in writing via email with GCI prior to 3:00PM Central Standard Time on Tuesday November 28th.
Arrival date changes received after the deadline will not be accepted by GCI Team Travel.
Cancellation Deadline:
• Cancelling your reservation via email with GCI before 3:00PM CST on Tuesday November 28th will not result in any charges or penalties.
• Cancelling your reservation after 3:00PM Central Standard Time on Tuesday November 28th will result in a cancellation penalty up to 2 night’s room and tax charged by the hotel.
No Show Policy:
Should a guest not show up on their scheduled arrival date, the hotel reservation will be cancelled for all consecutive nights and a no show fee will be charged to the credit card on file.

Full Team Cancellations:
Teams withdrawing from a tournament could be charged a penalty for cancelling hotel reservations. Please inquire with GCI.
If team is NOT ACCEPTED into tournament:
The Team Contact Person who set up the room block must notify GCI in writing no more than 1 business day after notification to cancel hotel reservations without penalty. Proof in writing from the tournament director will be required. If teams aren't notified until 10-14 days prior to check in, or the week of the event, hotel may charge a penalty; we will need to reach out to the hotel to inquire.
Entire Event Cancellation:
If the entire tournament is cancelled due to weather or COVID-19, all reservations made with GCI will be cancelled entirely. There will be no penalties when the announcement is made at least 48 hours prior to check in. If games are cancelled after you have already checked in, the hotel's cancellation policy will continue to apply.
COVID-19 Disclaimer:
• Any cancellations due to Covid-19 that are sent in past GCI's cancellation deadline will be at the hotel's discretion to work with individuals/teams on a case by case basis. We cannot guarantee a hotel's flexibility in regards to charging a penalty (or not) for a cancellation made after the GCI deadline.
• Hotel amenities listed on our website and in your confirmation email may be subject to change without prior notification due to COVID-19 regulations. (EX: swimming pool and fitness center availability, house-keeping, breakfast etc.)

Confirming reservation changes or cancellations:
If you do not receive a reply from us (changes@gciteamtravel.com) within 1 business day, please follow up by phone. Email servers such as me.com, icloud.com and att.net will often completely block your email messages to us and our replies to you. Be sure to check for a reply/confirmation if you are sending us an email with an important change or cancellation for your reservation.
