Updated 11/11/2024: The Hyatt Place Metcalf - Overland Park is working to complete full hotel renovations. Currently, all rooms are renovated. The gym has been renovated and new workout equipment is coming. All entrances and parking is open. The meeting room is currently being renovated at this time. For any additional questions, please contact the hotel directly.

Taxes are not included in listed room rates. All hotel's room rates are subject to state and local taxes/fees (currently 18.1% - subject to change without notice).
• Reduction in length of Stay: The group room rate is based on a reserved length of stay. Hotel reserves the right to increase the room rate (to a maximum of the then-current rack rate) in the event the reserved length of stay is reduced.
• A King room can connect/adjoin with another King room only. (not guaranteed) A Double & King will not connect/adjoin.
• No Roll-away Beds Available.
• A valid credit card and matching valid photo ID is required to check in (must be 21 or older)
• Adult’s name on reservation must match guest name that checks in at hotel.
• The credit card used when reserving the room is for guarantee only. A physical card must be presented at check-in.
• Please obtain a “credit card authorization form” from the hotel if you won’t have the physical credit card at check-in.

Hotel Incidentals: At check in the hotel will charge a fee per day for incidentals. This charge will come off of your card if nothing is charged to the room and there are no damages. GCI does not recommend paying with a debit card because of incidentals. Please note that most hotels will only accept a credit card at check in. Cancellation Policy
Arrival Date Change Deadline:
Request in writing via email with GCI prior to 3:00PM Central Standard Time on Tuesday November 28th.
Arrival date changes received after the deadline will not be accepted by GCI Team Travel.
Cancellation Deadline:
• Cancelling your reservation via email with GCI before 3:00PM CST on Tuesday November 28th will not result in any charges or penalties.
• Cancelling your reservation after 3:00PM Central Standard Time on Tuesday November 28th will result in a cancellation penalty up to 2 night’s room and tax charged by the hotel.
No Show Policy:
Should a guest not show up on their scheduled arrival date, the hotel reservation will be cancelled for all consecutive nights and a no show fee will be charged to the credit card on file.

Full Team Cancellations:
Teams withdrawing from a tournament could be charged a penalty for cancelling hotel reservations. Please inquire with GCI.
If team is NOT ACCEPTED into tournament:
The Team Contact Person who set up the room block must notify GCI in writing no more than 1 business day after notification to cancel hotel reservations without penalty. Proof in writing from the tournament director will be required. If teams aren't notified until 10-14 days prior to check in, or the week of the event, hotel may charge a penalty; we will need to reach out to the hotel to inquire.
Entire Event Cancellation:
If the entire tournament is cancelled due to weather or COVID-19, all reservations made with GCI will be cancelled entirely. There will be no penalties when the announcement is made at least 48 hours prior to check in. If games are cancelled after you have already checked in, the hotel's cancellation policy will continue to apply.
COVID-19 Disclaimer:
• Any cancellations due to Covid-19 that are sent in past GCI's cancellation deadline will be at the hotel's discretion to work with individuals/teams on a case by case basis. We cannot guarantee a hotel's flexibility in regards to charging a penalty (or not) for a cancellation made after the GCI deadline.
• Hotel amenities listed on our website and in your confirmation email may be subject to change without prior notification due to COVID-19 regulations. (EX: swimming pool and fitness center availability, house-keeping, breakfast etc.)

Confirming reservation changes or cancellations:
If you do not receive a reply from us (changes@gciteamtravel.com) within 1 business day, please follow up by phone. Email servers such as me.com, icloud.com and att.net will often completely block your email messages to us and our replies to you. Be sure to check for a reply/confirmation if you are sending us an email with an important change or cancellation for your reservation.
